QWhat does Yohaku do?
A

Yohaku lets you leave time with nothing planned—named and timed—then look back on Today, Week and Month.

QIs it a calendar or task manager?
A

No. It does not manage events or tasks. It leaves room with nothing planned between what you already have.

QIs it free?
A

Yes. Every core feature is free. The free version may show unobtrusive banner ads.

QIs there a subscription?
A

No. There is no subscription.

QCan I remove ads?
A

Yes. A one-time “Remove ads permanently” purchase removes ads. It does not unlock extra core features.

QCan I restore a purchase?
A

Yes. On the same Apple Account, restore from Settings.

QDo I need an account?
A

No.

QWhat devices are supported?
A

iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The app is designed for iPhone.

QIs there an Android version?
A

Not currently.

QWhat do I enter for a space?
A

A name, date, start time and end time.

QCan I create more than one per day?
A

Yes. Overlapping times are allowed; the app does not warn about conflicts.

QCan I create spaces on future dates?
A

Yes.

QCan I edit later?
A

Yes. Tap a card on Today to change the name, date or times.

QCan I delete a space?
A

Yes, from the editor or the long-press menu.

QWhat do the Week squares mean?
A

How many spaces that day has. Empty days show an outline; days with spaces show filled squares. If a day has more than five, Week shows at most five.

QWhat do Month’s dark cells mean?
A

That day has at least one space. Shade does not encode length or exact count.

QDoes Month generate patterns?
A

No. Month only marks days with space on a calendar. It does not generate art.

QIs there a timer while a space is active?
A

No. A space is real time away from the app, so there is no timer, countdown, dedicated mode or end notification.

QDo I have to answer the check-in?
A

No. It is optional. Close or swipe it away and the same space will not be asked about again.

QWhen do notifications arrive?
A

Normally three to seven minutes before a space begins. For a space created at short notice, it may arrive closer to the start or be skipped if there is not enough time.

QWhen is permission requested?
A

When you create your first space.

QCan I turn notifications off?
A

Yes, anytime in Settings.

QDo edits update notifications?
A

Yes. Changing the start time reschedules the notification.

QWhere is data stored?
A

On your device.

QCan the operator see my spaces?
A

No. Names and times are not sent to the operator’s servers.

QCan I sync between devices?
A

Not with a Yohaku-specific sync today.

QCan I export data?
A

Not currently—no export or import.

QCan I migrate when I change phones?
A

There is no Yohaku migration feature. If data is lost to device failure, loss or uninstall, the operator cannot restore it.

QWhat if I delete the app?
A

On-device spaces are removed and cannot be restored from an operator server.

QDoes it work offline?
A

Creating, editing, deleting and viewing Today/Week/Month work offline.

QWhat needs a network?
A

Loading ads, in-app purchase, restore, support messages and the latest legal documents.

QAre spaces attached to support messages?
A

No. Space records are never attached automatically.
